1. people
/ˈpiː pl/ (noun, plural)
human beings, men, women, and children
The word people is plural. For one, use the word person. You can make the word person plural, persons, but this is not very common. Use person (singular) and people (plural).
People has irregular pronunciation. The o is silent, and the last e is silent.
Human (/ˈhjuː mən/) is a synonym for the word people. Human also means men, women, and children. It is used more in writing than in speaking. The word human will usually be followed by the word beings – human beings.
God’s people will own the land and live here forever. (Psalms 37:29)
John preached the good news to the people. (Luke 3:18)

an adult female human
It is true that the first woman came from a man, but all other men have been given birth by women. (1 Corinthians 11:12)
The disciples were surprised to find Jesus talking with a woman. (John 4:27)

to come to a place with somebody or something
Jesus asked the disciples to bring the food to him. (Matthew 14:18)
