The Story of Easter (teacher edition) contains 20 pre-planned ESL lessons covering Jesus’ last days, from the last three chapters of Matthew. Your students will read about the last supper, the trial and crucifixion, and Jesus’ resurrection and final commission to the disciples.
Each lesson includes activities and classroom practice in the four major skills – reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Each lesson also has detailed steps for teaching pronunciation, grammar, and spelling, along with questions for discussion.
The grammar focus of this lesson series is prepositions. Many of the grammar exercises will teach your students how to use common English prepositions.
There is enough material in each lesson for a two-hour class. Many lessons come with additional activities, like worksheets, games, and group projects. Lesson 20 also contains a final quiz covering prepositions.
